PAPUA - In a heartfelt demonstration of solidarity, the Task Forces of the Para Raider Infantry Battalion 501/Bajra Yudha Kostrad, under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, carried out a meaningful act of kindness. On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, the 501 Task Forces distributed food packages to the residents of Sorry Village, Aifat Selatan District, Maybrat Regency, Papua Barat Daya Province, as part of their ongoing efforts to foster goodwill and strengthen their relationship with the community.
The initiative, led by Second Lieutenant Irfan from the Sorry Post, wasn’t merely about providing basic necessities; it was an opportunity for the Soldiers to connect with the people they serve. Commander of the 501 Task Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Yakhya Wisnu Arianto, emphasized the importance of addressing the community's basic needs while nurturing a sense of belonging and cooperation.
